ICC - die ersten Eindrücke

Patch 3.3 ist seit Mittwoch auf den europäischen Servern ... und lange hat es nicht gedauert, bis die ersten 4 Bosse im Dreck lagen.

Da unser erster Raidtag immer am Donnerstag angesetzt ist, stürmten wir die Zitadelle erst einen Tag nach dem "Patchday". Innerhalb von 3 Stunden war schließlich auch alles down, inklusive Saurfang Achievement.

Obwohl der Schwierigkeitsgrad erwartunsgemäß gering ist, finde ich die Encounter sehr unterhaltsam ... vorallem das Kanonenboot gefällt mir außerordentlich.

Jetzt bleibt eigentlich nur noch die Hoffnung, dass sich der nächste Flügel so schnell wie möglich öffnet ... laut einer offiziellen Meldung müssen wir bis zu 28 Tage darauf warten. Ich hoffe es werden weniger sein.

Achja .. by the way, die Ringe beim Äschernen Verdikt sind seeeeehr geil!

Patch 3.3 .. next ID?

.. kommt Patch 3.3 nächste Woche?! Will man den Gerüchten Glauben schenken, dann wird mit kommenden Mittwoch die Eiskronenzitadelle auf die Server gespielt .. beziehungsweise die ersten paar Bosse.

Was ändert sich für uns Schamanen? Naja, nicht viel ... als Troll darf man sich auf ultra-stylische Totems freuen (bruahaha)

Interessant für uns Heilschamis könnte noch die Änderung der Reinkarnation werden, die nun auf 30 Minuten CD reduziert wird ... inklusive Skillung sogar auf 15 Minuten. Imo sehr nützlich für Progress-Gilden und sicher ein Versuch wert, wenn man bedenkt, dass man in ICC nur eine gewisse Anzahl an Versuchen hat ... da kann der gesenkte CD schon seine Vorteile bringen.

Seit Wochen schon wird die Eiskronenzitadelle auf dem Testserver von etlichen Spielern penibel unter die Lupe genommen .. beinahe jeden Tag erscheint ein neuer PTR-Build. Erst kürzlich wurde auf auf mmo-champ gemutmaßt, dass der Patch 3.3 erst Mitte Dezember live geht ... man bezog sich dabei auf ein Statement von Datth:

"We only provide mirror links for full client patches. Background downloads do not count. You have around 1+ month to download this file so we're not really worried about your speed"

Nimmt man Datth beim Wort, dann beschenkt uns Blizzard tatsächlich kurz vor Weihnachten mit der Eiskronenzitadelle. Christkind hin oder her, den meisten Spielern wird das sowieso egal sein ... ich bin zwar während der ganzen Ferien am afrikanischen Kontinent, aber Notebook und sicheres W-Lan sind bereits gecheckt, sodass ich auch von dort zur Abenstund' mitraiden kann.

Ich bin wirklich gespannt, wer diesmal das Rennen um den Firstkill macht ... ich tippe auf Mek und seine Bande, sprich Ensidia.

The Healer Questionnaire

• What is the name, class, and spec of your primary healer? Hrnsy, Resto Shaman.
• What is your primary group healing environment? (i.e. raids, pvp, 5 mans) I prefer 10-man raids.
  
• What is your favorite healing spell for your class and why? Chainheal, whatelse?
  
• What healing spell do you use least for your class and why? Healing Wave, 'cause LHW is much more efficient. If there is no other opportunity, then I cast HW in combination with Nature's Swiftness.
  
• What do you feel is the biggest strength of your healing class and why? Totems, Totems, Totems! No other class supports the raid as good as the shaman does.
  
• What do you feel is the biggest weakness of your healing class and why? Imo we are still a hybrid healerclass ... we are nothing special, but we can everything.
  
• In a 25 man raiding environment, what do you feel, in general, is the best healing assignment for you? I would say raid healing.
  
• What healing class do you enjoy healing with most and why? Priests, but just my two guildmates who are always on the top of the meters.
  
• What healing class do you enjoy healing with least and why? Shaman, just one Resto Shaman fits in a 10-man.
  
• What is your worst habit as a healer? Always looking at my mana and calculating at which point I'm going oom.
  
• What is your biggest pet peeve in a group environment while healing? "HEAL ME, c'mon .. HEAL ME" .. I always get aggro when someone yells at me.
  
• Do you feel that your class/spec is well balanced with other healers for PvE healing? Since 3.2. .. yes I do.
  
• What tools do you use to evaluate your own performance as a healer? I check the hps, the amount of overheal and .. certainly the deaths ^^
  
• What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about your healing class? They always suggest that we are only good in raid healing ... but we can also take the spot of a tank healer.
  
• What do you feel is the most difficult thing for new healers of your class to learn? As far as my experience go, newer Shamans use to spam Chainheal everytime to be Nr1 on healingmeter.
  
• If someone were to try to evaluate your performance as a healer via recount, what sort of patterns would they see (i.e. lots of overhealing, low healing output, etc)? 9k hps at Twins, pwned Sevi ^^
  
• Haste or Crit and why? I define my personal critical hitcap .. 30% and I'm going to reach the 900-haste edge, then I'll be happy.
  
• What healing class do you feel you understand least? Mmhm .. Disc Priests.
  
• What add-ons or macros do you use, if any, to aid you in healing? I use a lot of addons .. about 30, but the most important are: Grid, Clique, BigWigs, ShamanWarning, ShieldsUp, Quartz and EnsidiaFails (love it)

.. endlich wurde das Tier-10 vom Schamanen der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert und es war die lange Wartezeit wert. Nach dem Tier-2 und dem Tier-6 imo das beste Set ever.
